I became a fishing guide to pass along my knowledge, experience and skills to others who enjoy fishing. I have been fishing the South Padre Island area exclusively for many years targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout and Flounder in the bay and fishing offshore for Kingfish, Red Snapper, Ling, Dorado and Sailfish. I am one of only 2 offshore boats that can catch and keep Red Snapper year round in state waters. I also specialize in targeting Tarpon around the jetties and along the beach of South Padre. I fish out of a 22' Blue Wave Super Tunnel with a 200hp Mercury Optimax ProXS in the bay and in a 28' Pursuit Express offshore. Both boats provide a very smooth and dry ride even in the biggest bay chop and handles offshore swells with ease. The boats can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people fishing. Groups or families with children are always welcomed. I like to see children learn to cast and catch their own fish for the first time. These are often the most memorable fishing trips. |
